the baluster body rising to a narrow waisted neck with flared rim, the shoulder set on one side with a short straight spout and decorated with three narrow ribs, covered overall with a clear straw-coloured glaze, the lower part of the body and base unglazed
Height 16.3 cm, 6⅜ in.

Condition Report
The ewer has some glaze flaking at the rim and minor glaze flakes to the body.

the high shouldered rounded body surmounted by a ribbed neck, covered entirely with a lustrous black glaze suffused with iridescent ‘oil spots’, the recessed base unglazed

Height 20.2 cm, 7⅞ in.

Condition Report
The jar has some minor glaze firing imperfections including a glaze pull to the waist and scattered glaze pin holes around the body.
