We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-some restored breaks to the branches of the tree, with associated touching up
-there is one missing jade plaque on the jardinière
-minor chips and nicks to the extremities of the lacquer jardinière, with associated small areas of touching up
-some wear, minor losses and cracks to the floral decoration, as expected
-a few minor nicks to the jade and hardstone carvings to the base of the tree
-Some minor loose sections around the edges of the crushed hardstone flooring at the base of the tree, at the join with the lacquer, with some touching up to the interior rim of the lacquer
