The wide facial plane with sunken eyes inlaid with pierced shell, pupils also once inlaid; pierced at the sides of the head for suspension.

Expressively rendered basalt carved head with beautiful, sensitive naturalistic features, almond eyes once inlaid, the ears pierced, the mouth slightly open and with a low-cut coiffure.
